Re: Spain June/July 2018

Day 4 – Railway Museum and Retiro Park Lots of photos today, Imgur saying 200 photos for days 1-3, but 275 just for day 4! No parks for a while either, just cultural things around Madrid and Zaragoza. Started today at the Museo Ferrocarril de Madrid (Madrid Railway Museum). While I don’t consider m...

Re: Spain June/July 2018

Day 3 – Parque Warner (29/6/18) Slightly earlier start today as park opened at 11:30 and had further to travel to get to the park. As recommended by many people on here, I got a train from Atocha station to Pinto station before getting the local bus service straight to the park. Other than a bit of...

Day 2 – Parque de Attraciones de Madrid (28/6/18) Day started well with nice breakfast at hotel and was straight onto the Metro towards the park. Park didn’t open till midday so was able to have a small lie in before breakfast. Had slight problem on way to the park as Metro train didn’t park correc...

Spain June/July 2018

Sorry for the delay in writing this. Have been busy over the summer and only just found the time. For those who didn’t already know, I recently went on a 2 week trip to Spain, covering the Madrid parks, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Tibidabo and Port Aventura. This is was my first time ever in Spain so all e...

Re: Kings Island: Goodbye Firehawk

Pity, It did look a good ride and was relatively unique, have heard it was quite rough though. Hopefully it will get relocated again somewhere.

Re: Scare Mazes!

Haven't done any this year yet but may end up at Thorpe Fright Nights this year. If so, will likely try every maze available.

Re: B&M Wing vs Dive Coasters

There is absolutely no way that dive coasters are the cheap option for parks. Not only do they have the larger track, the massive cars would also take up a large volume of the cost. Even the smaller versions would still be expensive, especially on maintenance. The wing coasters aren't cheap either b...

Re: Your Dream Intellectual Property Theme?

More HTTYD stuff everywhere, especially if on the same level as Motiongate's area. Otherwise don't really care for IPs in parks.

Best Non-spite You've Had

It has been discussed numerous times about spites where rides have been unexpectedly closed when visiting a new park. This topic is the exact opposite of that: What coasters did you expect to be closed when visiting the park but were actually open to riders? Same goes for children's coasters you exp...

Re: Wicker Man (Alton Towers)

It is a good ride and rides much faster than it looked in the pre-season testing. Just hope it kickstarts the British theme park industry into investing more money into wooden coasters.
