Re: BREAKING NEWS: Steel Vengeance Crashes On Opening Day!

Not good, especially on it's opening day! I know it ran fast into the breaks but didn't expect that fast! Should shut up the people worrying about pacing in the 2nd half of the ride! In other news, Park staff have taken a circular saw to the break run of Twisted Timbers at KD! https://www.facebook.c...

Re: Contactless Tokens

Which attractions would they use it for though? Nothing owned by Merlin is pay-per-ride.

They could use it in annual passes though for quicker entry into the parks.

Re: Contactless Tokens

Agreed, can easily see some of the larger parks using this system e.g. Blackpool or Winter Wonderland.

Contactless Tokens

Tir Prince and Knightly's in Towyn, North Wales are now using a contactless card for their pay-per-ride tokens rather than individual plastic tokens: https://www.facebook.com/tirprincefunfair/posts/763786273812066 Wonder how many more (if any) per-per-ride parks follow suit. Re: The Walking Dead: The Ride - Invades Thorpe Park

^Somehow I doubt it'll have new trains. Perhaps may get a new covering for them though.

Think "Invading" is the correct term here, an invasion of something is rarely preferable. I'd have much rathered they left X as it was with sticking a dying IP on it.

Re: Olympia Looping Coaster (Travelling Coaster)

The official Olympia Looping website is usually pretty good at publicising where it's going:

I believe the coaster will be back at Weiner Prater for the summer season again this year.
