Ride accidents!

A topic to post about any ride acciadent that has happened anywhere. They can be as old as you want!

To start off: An Enterprise caught fire in Estonia (2007):




Plus, probably the most well-known of all of them:

Knott's Berry Farm's Xcelerator's cable snapped a while ago. The cable went straight through the train and lacerated a leg on the kid riding front row.

I was going to post about Xcelerator's cable snap, but the King already posted it. I just want to put down that roller coasters are extremely safe and that accidents very rarely happen.

XYZ is actually right here. Rollercoasters are the safest mode of transport there is and you are much, much, much more likely die or get severely injured on your way to the park.

I personally haven't but i have heard of many cases when people die or get really injured. I heard about this story once that someone had dropped his hat while riding a ride, and he jumped the fence after to go get his hat and unfortunately there was a coaster coming and it killed him instantly once it hit his head.

I personally have never witnessed a rollercoaster accident, but they do happen from time to time and when they do they happen spectacularly.

I totally agree with you Naiwen, ride accidents are not fun, and I am glad they don't happen often.
