Today is the first day of the 2018 season for Cedar Point, and it also marks the first public opening of their new rollercoaster manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) Steel Vengeance.
However on it's world debut two of the coaster trains crashed into each other. The incident happened inside the station for the coaster. The train in the station (Chess) was dispatched, and the train in the breakrun (Digger) over shot it's breaks and hit into the Chess train which leaving the station.
The coaster will most likely remain closed for a little while to allow a full investigation from Cedar Point and RMC.
