Thorpe Park's new Bolliger & Mabillard Wing Coaster has opened to the public.
The new coaster "The Swarm" is the fifth major installment since Colossus (2002)
and is the second coaster of it's type to open made by the swiss company.
Narrowly beating Dollywoods; Wild Eagle by eight days.

Swarm is Amazing!!

Got on it about 6 times on Saturday! The front is definitely worth waiting for.

Only bad thing really is the queue is a bit disorganised and the camera flash is blinding at night.

(And yes, I have been on Swarm at night already!)

During CF's ERT, it got dark. We carried on anyway!

The guys on Theme Park Review said it was forceless, is this true?

Also, how does this compare with the other coasters at Thorpe? (is it better/worse than...)

I strongly disagree with Theme Park Review it is quite forcefull.
It's brilliant and it fits in with the other coasters.

IMO it's better than the other coasters at Thorpe. So smooth and such a great first drop.

Also, Don't believe TPR. It's got loads of force, except in the zero-g.

The ones on TPR are very picky. If they don't get a near perfect roller coaster, they're going to bash it anyway they can. It's like they want every coaster to be either Expedition GeForce or El Toro.

Back on subject, I think that the theming is amazing on it. I like how it not only interacts with the Swarm, but it interacts with park guests too.
