Camelot - Closed for good

Ahh, another theme park closes , Unfortunatly I never got a chance to visit Camelot, but I have always wanted to ride Knightmare, as it looked like quite a cool rollercoaster from onride povs.

Knightmare is really good. Apart of the occasinal huge jolt, it's really smooth as well. Don't really care for the rest of the rides but I just want Knightmare and Whirlwind to survive and get relocated somewhere.

Yeah Whirlwind was also quite good from onride povs, and it would be good if both get relocated, however the parks website says that it is closed for the winter.

But then again maybe they haven't yet updated there site.

Yea, the website doesn't look to updated often. There's still details on there of a competition that ended in September!

Plus, the website does say it will reopen on 29th March and this 'news' is just from another forum so it may not be true.

That confirms it then! No more Camelot until someone else tries to run it.

My brother has come up with a brilliant idea with what to do with Camelot. Get rid of most of the rides and focus more on the medievial experience it's trying to be.Just turn it into something very much like Warwick Castle.

I hope Knightmare gets relocated. There aren't many Schwarzkopfs left.
