Dollywood 2014 Coaster - Rumour

Dollywood has began thier 2014 attraction teasers. A large banner in front Adventure Mountain, which is in the process of being demolished, reads "Coming in 2014 the next BIG adventure.... It'll be a BLAST!"
Now to me this is very interesting, when backed up by the fact Dollywood repesetiatves have been seen at Europa Park testing the rides, it makes me think we are looking at a Mack Ride, now I think because they have used "blast" on the banners, it makes me think they will be getting a Mack launch mega coaster, as Blue Fire has been really successful and a launch coaster is lacked at Dollywood, and Mack produce family friendly ones. I will be watching this closely and hoping that will get a Mack Launch Coaster, as it along with Wild Eagle may persuade me to go to Tennessee and Dollywood.

It could be that and my first instinct was a launch coaster but it could easily be a launching drop tower like the S&S ones.

I can see where both of you are coming with S&S, but personally I still think its a high chance for it to be a launch coaster, it's a type of coaster Dollywood is currently lacking.

Hmm. this could mean anything really. Could be a drop tower, could be a launch coaster, could even be 1 of those Slingshot thingies. We just don't know.

Dolly Parton is going to make an announcement today (21st August) regarding the 2014 investment, I think Simba's Mack Launch idea would suit Dollywood down to the ground, and would be another good installation after Wild Eagle.
The announcement will be at 11am EST, 4PM BST and 12:30AM CST (22nd August)

Been watching the announcement and so far all that has been mentioned is something about a forwards and backwards launching coaster for 4 year olds and a 300 room hotel and resort for 2015. It isn't that clear so the details on the coaster may not be correct.
