Finally some support works have gone up on the top half of The Smiler.

This coaster has some strange looking supports.

Those new trains look funky! They look like they'll be able to tilt backwards at some point as well. :)

Those trains do look good, but personally I don't think they will have the ability to tilt backwards, I just think it is going to be the design theme of the trains.

They do also kind of look like a electric chair which would help with the "correctional facility" theme.

Is it just me or does the support change from being circular to being square at the top?

Plus, it may just be the lighting but is that support brown?

Looking at it a bit closer, that is definitely just the lighting making it brown. Same with the squareness. While that it still could be true, it definitely looks like it just the lighting causing it.
