Baron 1898 - Efteling (B&M Dive Machine)

Baron 1898 is the 2015 new B&M Dive Machine for Efteling, above is the concept image that the park created when they officially announced the coaster.
The station building is coming along quite nicely but the layout is still in early stages of construction judging by these pictures.



One thing that Efteling does good is matching their concept arts.

Some track for Baron has recently been spotted at the B&M Ohio Factory.




X-Works really do love B&M Coasters.

I think X-works is just a name placed on most B&M track in the factory to try and confuse us enthusiasts. The one thing I don't get is why the track for this would be from the Ohio plant. Surely it would be from the closer Switzerland plant?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the main track assembly is at the Clermont steel fabricators plant because it is a larger factory Compared to the Swiss plant.

What CP2013 said, makes a lot of sense, B&M are having quite a good turn over of Coaster projects so I'd suggest that it would be down to that.

I suppose. That would mean the Gardaland Dive coaster must be taking up the Switzerland plant then.

The Baron 1898 Coaster is starting to look very impressive indeed.





It also looks like the lifthill track will soon be fitted once the tower support structure is complete.


I really do like the colour of this coaster, and think Efteling is doing a really good job with keeping it to match it's concept art.

Already that is looking like it will live up to the concept! Great idea in having the theming as the supports.

The full layout has been released by Efteling.

I wonder how a Zero-G Roll will work on the dive coaster, only time will tell.
