Rooted deeply in the storied tales of coaster folklore, the Valravn is a regal king of all birds, swooping in to conquer all other dive coasters on the planet with its powerful and intense maneuvers, massive structure and immense ride vehicles. No other creature on the planet can match what Valravn will deliver.
This untamed beast possesses superhuman strength, an inspiring collection of magical powers and boundless knowledge and vision. Valravn is, quite simply, an unstoppable force.
With the ability to soar high above its kingdom and dive with unbridled force and speed, it rules the skyline with its limitless power and unsurpassed tenacity. None dare challenge the power of Valravn.
Are you ready?
1. Loading station
2. 223-foot-tall lift hill
3. Holding brake – hang for 4 seconds over the edge!
4. 90-degree drop
5. 165-foot-tall Immelmann
6. 131-foot-tall second hill
7. Dive loop
8. 270-degree roll
9. Airtime hill
You’ll take flight on one of Valravn’s three, 24-passenger floorless trains. Unlike any other ride vehicle at Cedar Point, the trains feature 8-across seating, making them the widest roller coaster trains in our park arsenal.
The comfortable bucket seats feature an over-the-shoulder safety harness with a soft vest and interlocking seat belt. Valravn is the first floorless roller coaster in the world to use these new restraints & seats, which are similar to the park’s GateKeeper wing coaster
Valravn will change Cedar Point's skyline dramatically when it rises to greatness over the winter. Towering as one of five roller coasters over 200 feet tall at the park, Valravn will be a sight to behold.
Residing next to the park's oldest roller coaster (Blue Streak, opened in 1964), Valravn will also usher in a new marina entrance gate and plaza, welcoming guests to challenge the steel behemoth above them. You can watch brave souls as they dive face-first from 223 feet above the midway at a 90-degree angle to the ground below.
I'm glad to see this isn't a griffon or SheKria look alike (SheKria 1.5) and I also like the trains with the 8 across and the wing coaster restraints system (not to mention that frontal design)
