I really hope it doesn't break the record. It would jepodice Colossus - and being a Merlin owned theme park I would of thought common sense would of pravaled with only 8 inversions. In my mind Thorpe Park is the "extreme thrill seekers park" of Merlin enteraiment and because of that I seriously hope those rumors are not true as it would take away from Thorpe's image.

I agree about the record thing. This new record breaker track bit won't make a difference anyway as technically, it's alot like X2's "inversions" when the car flips but the track doesn't. They aren't counted so I think this machine won't be counted as inversions as well.

From what I have just read on Roller Coaster Database.
It looks like the train configeration will be "4 abreast seats with 4 rows so 16 per train.
So it looks like it will be a higher capacity style Eurofighter (If we still believe it is going to be a Eurofigher based coaster)

It could be and I did read on CF the other day that gerstlauer have released a new train design with similar seating to this.

Well, for me I have always been certain that this coaster would of been a Gerstlauer!
