The Swarm (Thorpe Park)

Thorpe Park did a pretty good job with Swarm, I just wished it was a bit longer and that the coaster would go over some of the inversions quicker.

It doesn't matter how it looks, it's how it feels to ride and the inversions are very quick.

Yep, the inversions look slow but they deffinatly quick.
The Swarm had quite a bit of downtime when I visited the park yesterday. Trip Report Comming Soon!

I got a free fastrack due to that downtime. I was in the queue when it broke and they gave fastracks to everyone in the queue.

30 mins? Everyone in the queue got one so it didn't really matter. I think the reason everyone got one though is it had already been broke for a while until they decided to give out the fastpasses. Due it being broken, no-one new entered the queue.

At least The Swarm is keeping the Mechanics on their toes.
The Swarm also reminds me of a quote from Nemesis ride engineer John Wardley when he was about to test the roller coaster (Nemesis) for the first time, he asked Walter Bolliger, "What if the coaster stalls? How will we get the trains back to the station?". Bolliger replied, "Our coasters never stall. They always work perfectly the first time."

Yes that is a fantastic quote! but seriously a number of B&M Coasters have stalled in the past.
