Banshee is a steel roller coaster located at Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio. Featuring 4,124 feet (1,257 m) of track, it is the world's longest inverted roller coaster when it opens April 18, 2014. Banshee was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) and is the first inverted coaster built in the United States since the Patriot debuted at Worlds of Fun in 2006. It replaced the infamous Son Of Beast wooden coaster.
