Iron Dragon is a steel roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It was built in 1987 by Arrow Dynamics. It is a suspended model where the cars hang beneath the track with free lateral movement by a chassis allowing them to swing side to side. Some parts of the ride are built on artificial lagoons, and the track takes riders into wooded areas and over water. Iron Dragon is one of two roller coasters at Cedar Point to utilize two separate lift hills, the other being Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Both hills are built side by side and head in opposite directions.

Iron Dragon is good. But I would prefer it to be a floorless coaster (So your legs are dangleing) like Vampire at Chessington World Of Adventures.

This is to shut on the America's Labour day and all the rumours are that It'll be taken out and replaced. Personally, I don't want them to take it down as no-one makes this style of coaster anymore.

^Didn't know Vekoma made a swinging suspended. Also, Ninja at Six Flags Magic Mountain isn't floorless and it's an Arrow suspended coaster.
