ETF Ride Systems (The Netherlands) has installed an interactive Fantasy Flight ride called Volo da Vinci at Europa Park in Germany. The ride offers guest control over the speed of the vehicles while allowing them to enjoy the views in a unique suspended vehicle solution. ETF's Fantasy Flight can be installed for indoor as well as outdoor needs as a suspended ride system.
"Volo da Vinci gives the passengers a feeling of freedom and also offers a good view of the scenery they pass through the flight", ETF announced. The track is situated above the vehicles, adapted to the construction of the building or as a self-supporting element. The vehicles have variable speed regulation - by means of AC motors with frequency regulators driving booster wheels - which can be regulated either by visitors themselves or by switches on the track.
The vehicles are equipped with one or two seating rows behind each other accommodating between 2 and 6 visitors. Visitors are protected by a lap-bar-security system that operates automatically.
