That does look amazing. I think it's the least themed ride at Disney. Saying that, I think it's themed to be a coaster/thrill machine.

California Screamin' is themed to be a seaside wooden coaster built in the 1920s. It's odd that a steel coaster is themed to a wooden one.

I have to admit, I had a fealing it was based on a wooden coaster, mainly because of the supports.
