Raptor is a steel inverted roller coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, Raptor opened in May 1994 and was the first inverted roller coaster to feature a cobra roll. Still popular more than a decade after its debut, Amusement Today ranked Raptor as the 18th best steel roller coaster in the world in 2011. Raptor opened as the world's tallest, fastest, and longest inverted coaster. It was the 11th roller coaster to be built at Cedar Point in the modern era. The logo depicts the informal name of a bird of prey and not a velociraptor.

Raptor has a fantastic layout.

Just looking at the photos on RCDB, this coaster looks absolutely amazing. Just forever turning or inverting, never lets up.

Raptor is good. Far better than most other coasters out there, but it's one of the less enjoyable B&M Inverts for me. It's old and tired basically. Its layout is good and interesting, but it rattles quite a lot and the smoothness has definitely gone over the years.

I mean, it's great, but it's one of the weaker inverts.

this was my first ride and it is still a very good ride
