X (Thorpe Park) - RIP

X is such a great ride ... I love. Queuing For it because of the music... Also the flashing lights inside the ride are very interesting.

This refurbishment does look nice even though I do agree with King about it being a Giant nightclub inside.

I found a picture of what Simba took but in a higher quality it says Jan 2013, Hesther Rose


No idea what Hesther Rose even would mean in terms of rollercoasters or why it got painted on top of a break.

I have a feeling that's meant to say Heather Rose and is either graffiti or the name of someone refurbishing the ride. It could even be completely new breaks and the maker had put her name on there

I think it's definatly a new brake based on the fact it also says Jan 2013 and looks new too.

That is actually quite good, when me and Doomega were last at the park there were long gaps between a dispatched train on the boarding platform and the next train rolling into the the boarding station.

Sounds good. More trains = More capacity.

The thing is it will most probably cause longer waits in the MCBRs. If they keep it at 2 trains and just have the MCBRs for emergencies, IMO it would be a much better ride.

Well it definatly needs the higher capacity because the queue line moves extremely slowly, I think it might have been on three train operation, the last two times me abd Doomega visited but I am not 100% sure.
