Wind Seeker

Postby Coincrazed » Sun Dec 18, 2011 4:09 pm

Anyway, what with basically being forced to step down on another site, I have more time for other sites.

On my 16th Bday, I rode the ride "Windseeker" at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena park. The ride was AMAZING, but short. You go up over 300 feet and the give you a panoramic view of Buena Park CA.

Anyone ever ridden this? It is a very new ride, I think it came out in July.

That does look fun.

I just find it amazing that Americans have big major theme parks in the middle of cities. I know we have Blackpool, but thats not quite the same.

Not forgetting Japan as a theme park with a rollercoaster over roof tops.

American parks are inside major cities because when each of those parks were built, all that was around was farms, nothing but farms. Cities were built around theme parks in the last 30 years.

Cool. Yet, if that happens in the UK, we'd complain about it, all big rides will shut and they won't be allowed to build more. ;)

So very true Thekingin64.
However I would personally love to live next to a theme park should be able to get good views of ride construction.

As my brother very rightly said, Living next to a theme park will be fun at first but soon you may get annoyed with the noise and traffic that it brings. It'll still be fun though.

Are you a roller coaster nut, or what?
I would love to live next to theme park, better yet, I want a coaster over my house, that way, I could pick up all the Coins that fall out of rider's pockets onto my roof, LOL.

I would prefer to call myself a masive Coaster Lover (It's like you with Coins, Pandorica with Penguins)

Anyway moving this topic more back on topic: I would love Wind Seeker to be cloned and located at Chessington World Of Adventures or Thorpe Park.
