Wildfire - The Reveal

Rocky Mountain Construction well known for Outlaw Run are going to be building their first rollercoaster for Europe! Wildfire will be located at Kolmården, Wildlife Park in (Sweden), and will be the Wildlife Park's first ever rollercoaster investment.
Wildfire will feature three inversions, and an 83º first drop at the height of 187 ft. The coaster itself will reach a top speed of 70 mph, on it's 4,265 ft layout and will feature 12 airtime moments, 4 of those with negative G force. The duration of Wildfire will last approximately 120 seconds.

I really like the layout of the ride. it looks out of control and I would love to ride this in the future. this ride will also set the standard for the wooden coaster in England.

That looks amazing! So glad that they're building something a bit closer to home. Judging by the video, the layout is going to be pretty awesome as well.

CP2013, the ride is going to be in Sweden, a whole different country than England. Hopefully, ride designers here will take note but nothing will be built here for now.

I admit Wildfire does look very good, and I think it will be good to have a wooden inversion coaster in Europe.
I don't think the UK will ever see another woodie, because of heath and safety rules and general public views of them. Then again from what I understand, Megafobia at Oakwood is still very popular.

Megafobia is extremely popular at the park. All rides there except Megafobia and the Bobsleds (due to awful capacity) were virtually walk on with no queue at all. Megafobia even reached 90 mins at 1 point in the evening.

Join that with Blackpool and there is absolutely no doubt that woodies are still popular here in the UK.
